There used to be a saying in publishing, "The more eyes, the better."

Traditionally the editorial process in health care communications consisted of 3 separate and distinct functions: content editing/fact-checking, copyediting and proofreading. People individually skilled in each task and employed at separate stages of review built quality control into the editorial process.

In recent years, however, many agencies have melded the separate stages of copy review into one "do it all" function. Originally intended to control costs and streamline operations, use of a single editor has had the unintended effect of reducing editorial oversight and compromising quality control.

LetterPressMD is the first company in the health care communications field to offer the full range of editorial services while restoring quality control to the editorial process. Experienced, top-notch editors perform all of our work. The firm's principals bring "more eyes" to bear on all projects to ensure that the highest standards of accuracy, clarity and integrity are met.

As your needs for editorial resources change, consider LetterPressMD your fully equipped, professionally managed satellite editorial department. We're ready when you are.
